France has one of the oldest and most prestigious education systems in the world. Major universities and institutes such as Sorbonne University, Sciences Po, and École Polytechnique are consistently ranked among the top in Europe.
Training programs in France comply with the Bologna process (LMD: Licence – Master – Doctorate), allowing degrees to be globally recognized and facilitating seamless transfers between European Union countries.
Affordable Tuition Fees, State Subsidized
Unlike many English-speaking countries, international students in France receive significant tuition subsidies from the government at public universities.
- The average tuition fee is only around €2,770 per year for Bachelor’s programs and €3,770 for Master’s programs.
- Private or international programs may range from €5,000 – €10,000/year, which is still much lower than in the UK, US, or Canada.
Diverse Choice of Fields & Languages
Students can choose to study in French or English, with over 1,500 programs taught in English nationwide.
In addition, many institutions offer preparatory French language courses (DELF/DALF) to help students prepare well before commencing their studies.
Abundant Scholarship and Career Opportunities
France offers many prestigious scholarship programs: Eiffel Excellence Scholarship, regional scholarships, and public and private university scholarships. After graduation, students can:
- Stay in France for 12 months to seek employment or internships (APS visa)
- Or switch to a long-term work visa if employed.
Cultural Experience & International Growth Opportunities
At the same time, its central location in Europe makes it easy to travel and study in neighboring countries like Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.
A comprehensive journey of learning, discovery, and personal growth.
Study Abroad Programs
France’s higher education system follows the Bologna framework (LMD – Licence, Master, Doctorat), making it easier for students to transfer, progress between study levels, and have their qualifications recognized across Europe.
