Expenses - Scholarships

Tuition Fees for Study Abroad Programs
International students (from outside the EU/EEA) studying undergraduate or postgraduate programs in Denmark are required to pay tuition fees, averaging EUR 6,000–16,000 per year, depending on the field of study and university. Internship programs advised by Vera Academy do not charge tuition fees, and participants receive a monthly allowance or salary.
Living Costs & Other Expenses
Denmark is one of the countries with a high cost of living in Northern Europe; however, it offers an excellent quality of life and strong social welfare. On average, students need around EUR 700–1,200 per month to cover accommodation, food, transportation, and other expenses. International students are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic term and full-time during holidays.
Scholarships & Financial Support
Denmark offers many attractive scholarships for international students, particularly at Bachelor's and Master's levels, providing 20%–100% tuition support and monthly living allowances.
